Riverdi’s EVE displays are their most popular product line. The EVE displays are run by Bridgetek’s family of advanced graphics controllers. All video processing is serviced by Bridgetek’s EVE (Embedded Video Engine), which combines display, touch, and audio into a single chip.

Graphics Controllers

  • Bridgetek EVE – FT80x, FT81X and BT81X
    Advanced Graphics Controller combining display, touch and audio control into a single chip.
  • Solomon SSD1963
    The Solomon SSD1963 has 1 MB memory which you can use to write all your display data. It offers standard features like programmable brightness, contrast and saturation control, as well as dynamic Backlight Control (DBC) over the PWM signal.

Touch Controllers

  • Ilitek Touch Controllers
    Industrial touch controllers with excellent performance regarding EMC compliance, gloved operation and can handle water drops.
  • Hycon Touch Controllers
    This family of Hycon touch controllers allows for thicker glass covers on our displays, and it works perfectly with the Bridgtek EVE graphics controllers.

uxTouch

uxTouch are LCD TFT displays with specially designed PCT (Projected Capacitive Touch) available in standard and customisable “Advanced” and “Professional” options.

Their modern and sleek design along with multitouch capability make them the perfect choice for your interactive design as well as making them easy to assemble, easy to clean and easy to implement into your design. They also feature chemically strengthened glass providing increased durability.

Riverdi EVE based intelligent displays

Riverdi manufactures a range of 2.8”, 3.5”, 4.3”, 5” and 7” TFT displays based on Bridgetek’s innovative Embedded Video Engine (EVE), providing simultaneous display, touch and audio functionality. The industry-standard serial SPI interface allows the use of low-cost MCUs as the system controller. This, along with EVEs object-oriented methodology, makes the creation and rendering of graphics very easy and intuitive, while at the same time greatly reducing the cost of the overall system implementation.

EVE3

The BT81x controller is a part of a family of advanced graphics controllers targeted at embedded applications for generating high-quality Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs). This third generation of Bridgetek’s touch display controller provides some significant improvements and extended capabilities including:

  • Support for the Adaptive Scalable Texture Compression (ASTC) algorithm. This means image quality can be significantly enhanced without needing greater bandwidth to be allocated as the compression algorithm allows for smaller compressed files. This, in turn, saves up a lot of memory space required by larger fonts and data-heavy images.
  • A dedicated QSPI host port for attaching an external flash memory to memory management and system resources.
